George J. Storms is the firm’s newest associate, who contributes significantly to our trial team. He has quickly learned the firm’s methods of fraud investigations and is skilled in conducting Examinations Under Oath, and providing in-depth coverage analyses for the firm’s insurance clients. He has briefed and filed multiple successful Motions for Summary Disposition as well.
He is a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids. During his tenure at Cooley, Mr. Storms was a member of several on campus organizations including Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and the Mock Trial Board. In his final year, Mr. Storms also gained some real-world experience as a clerk for the Honorable G. Patrick Hilary in the 17th Circuit Court in Kent County.
Although he was an outstanding student – receiving multiple Dean’s List recognitions – Mr. Storms also showed promise with his litigation skills. His talent in the courtroom earned him a spot on the highly competitive National Trial Team where he competed against other law school teams from around the country.
Originally a native of Maryland, Mr. Storms traveled to Alfred University in upstate New York for his undergraduate degree in political science. While there, he was a starter on the Saxons’ Lacrosse team. Today, the Grand Rapids Christian High School Lacrosse program benefits from those skills as he serves as one of their assistant coaches.
